BUILT IN 1902. NICLAUSSE BOILERS, TRIPLE EXPANSION ENGINES OF 17,000 IHP FOR 21 KNOTS. 8 X 6.4 INCH, 4 X 4 INCH & 10 X 3 POUNDER GUNS. 2 TORPEDO TUBES. STRUCK A MINE AND QUICKLY SANK. NEARLY ALL 520 CREW WERE SAVED BY THE ESCORTING TORPEDO BOATS. (DODS).
