(PORTLAND AP REPORT, DOCKET M010743). H6391/19 25.3.20 POSN 503430N, 015620W ACCEPTED. (LORDS COMMISSIONERS OF ADMIRALTY). - NM 674/20. H4607/28 2.8.28 NOT FOUND IN 503430N, 015620W. (TRINITY HOUSE). - NM 1258/28. H1268/66 22.5.66 IDENTIFIED AS 'KYARRA'. LARGE VESSEL, LYING ON HER SIDE. MANY DECK FITTINGS WINCHES ETC ARE STILL RECOGNISABLE. TRANSIT MARKS SUPPLIED. (MISS L BLAKE, SUB-AQUA DIVER, 22.5.66). H1730/65 3.5.68 DRIFT SWEEP IN 503453N, 015633W USING HSA. DECCA USED. WK CLEARED AT 62FT, FOULED AT 63FT. LEAST DEPTH BY E/S 62FT IN GEN DEPTH BY E/S 90FT. DEPTH OF SCOUR BY ECHO 7FT. SEABED COARSE SAND, SHELL AND SMALL STONES. WK IS EVIDENTLY STARTING TO BREAK UP HAVING 3FT MORE WATER OVER IT THAN IN 1958 & A LOCAL FISHERMAN REPORTED THAT HE HAD KNOCKED SEVERAL PIECES OFF WK IN RECENT YEARS. (FSL WATERWITCH, R OF S 7.6.67). BR STD. H1246/69 6.5.69 WK LYING APPROX E/W, BOWS POINTING E. COVERS AN AREA 600 X 150FT. LYING ON STARBOARD SIDE, WHEEL-HOUSE AND TOP SUPERSTRUCTURE HAVE BEEN SWEPT AWAY. STANDING 30FT HIGH ON SEABED, BUT BOW STANDS SOME 5FT HIGHER THAN THIS. SHIP HAS BROKEN BACK, SEVERAL INTERIOR DECKS HAVE COLLAPSED. SEABED IS SAND & ROCKS. SOME SALVAGE HAS TAKEN PLACE. HOPE TO REMOVE PROP DURING SUMMER 1969.
