8.10.26 SANK AFTER COLLIDING WITH STEAM TRAWLER AMORELLE IN THICH FOG AT 3.20PM OFF WOULD LIGHT VESSEL. VESSEL, OF METHIL, WAS ON PASSAGE GHENT FOR DUNDEE, CARGO COALS. FIVE CREW SAVED AND BROUGHT IN, ALSO THE BODY OF THE CHIEF ENGINEER, GEORGE REYNOLDS, BUT THE MASTER, ONE AB AND ONE FIREMAN ARE MISSING. (LL 8.10.26). 15.10.26 ONE LIFEBOAT PICKED UP ON HEMSBY BEACH AND A MAIN FORE AND AFT HATCH MARKED 'F.A.' WASHED ASHORE ON YARMOUTH BEACH. POSSIBLY FROM THIS VESSEL. (LL 15.10.26). VESSEL WAS EX-VALBORG, FROM 1914 (THE YEAR OF BUILD) TO 1948.
