SMASHED SLATE AROUND THE SITE TO A DISTANCE OF 10MTRS. A TWO TO THREE TON ANCHOR LIES ABOUT 10MTRS TO THE E, WITH BUOYS ATTACHED. THESE ONLY SHOW AT LW. THE SITE EXPERIENCES VERY STRONG CURRENTS OF UP TO 7KNOTS. SALVAGE WORK IS BEING CARRIED OUT. HT OF WK 2MTRS IN GEN DEPTH 31MTRS. (S J HUMPHREY). POSN FOR FILING ONLY. HH100/351/11 20.6.96 HH100/351/11 20.6.96 BELIEVED TO HAVE BEEN THE 'LEWIS'. NOTHING LEFT OF WK NOW. (S. J. ROBERTS). 25.1.13 25.1.13 NOT LOCATED BY M/B. (EMU, HI 1365). AMEND DEAD.
