VESSEL, BUILT IN 1877 BY D & W HENDERSON, GLASGOW. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY J LILBURN, GLASGOW. ON PASSAGE FROM GLASGOW FOR ADELAIDE AND MELBOURNE. RAN ASHORE IN A FORCE 8 WHILE SEEKING SHELTER. MUCH OF CARGO OF BEER AND WHISKY RAISED AT TIME OF WRECKING, 3 LOCALS DIED, 1 OF ALCOHOL POISIONING & 2 TRYING TO RETRIEVE CARGO. (SIBI, DIVER MAGAZINE DEC'99, PEMBROKE SHIPWRECKS & SHIPWRECKS AROUND WALES).
