MACHINERY BY BLAIR & CO LTD, STOCTON ON TEES. 2 BOILERS, TRIPLE EXPANSION ENGINE, SINGLE SHAFT. 270 IHP. TORPEDOED AND SUNK BY GERMAN SUBMARINE UB 34 WHILE ON PASSAGE SOUTH SHIELDS TO THE NORE. SANK IN FOUR MINUTES. FOUR CREW KILLED.
