HULL REDUCED TO WATERLINE BY FIRE AND STRUCTURALLY BREAKING UP LEAVING LITTLE OR NO CHANCE OF SALVAGE. SUNKEN POSN CLEAR OF FAIRWAY. (HO, MARINE DEPT, FIJI, HN DTD 23.9.93 & BAY CRUISES (FIJI) LTD, LTR DTD 13.9.93). INS AS DWPA IN 174530S, 1771900E. - NM 3769/93. [FIJI 1986 DATUM] POSN: 1745.613S, 17718.763E. HH586/550/04 9.3.04 WK HAS BEEN CONFIRMED NOT TO EXIST BY THE HARBOUR PILOT. VESSEL WAS A 12MTR WOODEN BOAT. (MT IVER EXPORTER, HN DTD 24.2.04). ORIGINAL DATA REVIEWED. AMEND TO NDWPA. - NM 1807/04. SEP 2012/000033713 22.2.12 WK HAS BEEN REMOVED AND DOES NOT EXIST. (M PECKHAM, PILOT, VIA MT SITEAM EXPLORER, EMAIL DTD 15.2.12). AMEND DEAD.

CAUGHT FIRE WHILST AT ANCHOR AT SHERATON. WELL BURNED OUT AND REDUCED TO WATERLINE. LATER DRIFTED AND FINALLY SANK AFTER EFFORTS TO TOW VESSEL BACK TO MAINLAND FAILED. SANK OFF MALAMALA ISLAND, FIJI. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY BAY CRUISES (FIJI) LIMITED.
