BUILT IB 1966 BY SANOYASU DOCKYARD CO LTD, OSAKA. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY TOPAZ MARITIME SA. PASSAGE GDANSK FOR PORT HARCOURT. RAN AGROUND ON YOBUA ROCKS, IVORY COAST WHEN ELECTRICAL BLACKOUT CAUSED LOSS OF STEERING. VESSEL WAS ABANDONED WHEN SHE BEGAN TO BREAK UP. (MSD).
