H7221/39 10.11.37 AN AREA EXTENDING TO A MINIMUM DISTANCE OF 0.5M FROM CHARTED POSN WAS SWEPT BY OROPESA SWEEP TO A DEPTH OF 10FMS WITHOUT RESULT. TWO ADDITIONAL AREAS TO THE EAST WHERE SOME SLIGHT INDICATIONS WERE THOUGHT TO EXIST WERE SWEPT TO DEPTHS OF 50FT & 51FT WITHOUT RESULT. (HMS FLINDERS, 26.10.37). AMENDED TO NDWPA. BR STD. 31.1.73 NOW CHARTED AS USCPA 15.0MTRS. NC 536. H4959/73 3.4.75 NOT LOCATED USING DCS3 & E/S. GEN DEPTH 29MTRS. CLOSELY SEARCHED FOR. (HMS BEAGLE, HI 55/74). AMENDED TO DEAD. 9.6.76 REPORTED TO HAVE BEEN LOCATED. STANDS APPROX 20-25FT HIGH IN GEN DEPTHS OF 110-120FT. NO SUPERSTRUCTURE SEEN. (C SILVESTER, SHOREHAM, TELECON 9.6.76). NCA. 25.3.13 ABOVE REPORT CONSIDERED TO REFER TO NEWENT [80110] (QV).
