INS AS USC PA 28MTRS. NC 1652. 19.3.82 AMEND TO NDW. BR STD. H2330/84 24.7.85 NOTHING FOUND IN CHARTED POSN, BUT LOCATED 5.5.85 IN IN 503417N, 000046E [OGB] USING TRISPONDER [3 LOP]. LEAST E/S DEPTH 56.5 IN GEN DEPTH 58MTRS. NO SCOUR. POOR DCS3 CONTACT GIVING HT 1.8MTRS. COVERS 20MTRS DIAMETER. PROBABLY WRECKAGE. CHART AS FOUL. (HMS BULLDOG, HI 240A). AMEND TO FOUL IN REVISED POSN. BR STD. H2350/85 17.2.87 LOCATED 4.8.86 & POSN CONFIRMED. NOT FULLY SURVEYED. (NP 1008, HI 317B). 24.4.14 NOT LOCATED 2014 USING M/B & MAGNETOMETER. (NETSURVEY, HI 1435). AMEND DEAD.

BUILT IN 1875 BY SOFTELY & CO. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY W CAWTHORN. COMPOUND INVERTED ENGINES FOR 56HP. WAS IN COLLISION WITH AN UNKNOWN VESSEL EARLY IN THE MORNING, 15M SW OF BEACHY HEAD. SHE SANK WITH UPWARDS OF 6 PERSONS. (DODS).
