BROKE IN TWO IN HEAVY WEATHER. FRONT PORTION WITH SOME 1400 CONTAINERS LATER SANK. VESSEL BUILT 1972, LENGTHENED BY INSERTION OF A MIDSHIPS SECTION IN 1984. VESSEL DID NOT BREAK ALONG VERTICAL LIMITS OF INSERTED SECTION.
