7.4.75 VESSEL SANK OFF LATTAKIA BREAKWATER. (LLOYDS 219, 220). INFORMATION TOO VAGUE TO CHART. POSN 353130N, 354618E FOR FILING ONLY. 1.2.99 REPORT IN LLOYDS AND MSD GAVE POSN AS 0.5M OFF BREAKWATER, WHICH MEANS VESSEL IS PROBABLY ST CHARTED IN 3532.43N, 3545.50E [40028]. AMENDED TO DEAD.

Circumstances of loss

8.11.75 UPON ARRIVAL AT LATTAKIA FROM VALENCIA, THE VESSEL RAN AGROUND OFF THE BREAKWATER. SHE WAS LATER ABANDONED AS A TOTAL LOSS. (LL 219 & 220, 8.11.75 & MSD)
