Circumstances of loss

6.6.15 A new wreck was discovered whilst carrying out a wreck investigation of HMS BLACK PRINCE on 6 June 2015 using Kongsberg EM710. Due to the small size and proximity to HMS BLACK PRINCE it is believed unlikely to be HMS FORTUNE who was reportedly sunk intact and may be a smaller part of the BLACK PRINCE.
