STRANDED IN HIGH SEAS AND POOR VISIBILTY WHEN AWAITING ENTRY TO LEIXOES HARBOUR AND BROKE UP. WAS ON PASSAGE FROM BARRANQUILLA, VIA BELEM, CAYENNE AND MADEIRA. PACKAGES OF COCAINE WERE FOUND WASHED ASHORE AMONG SOME OF THE CARGO OF SAWN TIMBER. VESSEL, BUILT 1969, WAS OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY MARINE DISCOVERY S.A. (LLOYDS & MSD)
