HH691/400/01 21.7.89 HAS NOW APPARENTLY COMPLETELY SETTLED ON BOTTOM. (I BARTHOLOMEW, REFERRING TO PHOTO. PUBLISHED IN FEB '89 EDN OF NAVY NEWS). NCA YET. HH691/400/02 4.5.94 REPORTED TO BE AFLOAT. (RFA DILIGENCE, HN DTD 6.4.94). NCA. 23.2.95 [WGD] POSN: 541655.5S, 363030W. NC 3589 [LATER WITHDRAWN]. SEP 2013/000049944 6.3.13 LIES FURTHER UP BEACH, IE WITH NO WATER BETWEEN WRECK AND BEACH. ABOUT 10 YEARS AGO A SHORT TRENCH WAS DUG AND THE VESSEL WAS PULLED INTO THE TRENCH TO PREVENT THEM SINKING ANY FURTHER. THE TRENCH WAS THEN FILLED IN AROUND THE BOWS OF THE VESSEL. (K WHITTAKER, MASTER PHAROS SG, EMAIL DTD 6.3.13). AMEND CENTRE POINT TO 5416.923S, 3630.509W [WGD].
