BUILT OF STEEL IN 1913 BY EARLES & CO LTD OF HULL. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY ELLERMAN WILSON LINE. TWO BOILERS, TRIPLE EXPANSION ENGINE OF 217 HP, SINGLE SCREW. SINGLE 4 INCH QF GUN, STERN MOUNTED. PASSAGE HULL FOR ALEXANDRIA. CARGO COAL AND GENERAL. WAS TORPEDOED AND SUNK BY UB-57 AND SANK IN 8 MINUTES. OF THE CREW OF 33, 3 WERE LOST. OBERLIEUTENANT JOHANN LORS NOTED IN HIS LOG: 'IN ADMIRALTY SERVICE WITH A CARGO OF MINES FOR THE MEDITERRANEAN'.
