3.8.35 CAUGHT FIRE 3.8.35 WHILE ON PASSAGE, WITHOUT PASSENGERS, FROM JERSEY TO ST MALO WHEN 9M OFF LA CORBIERE. WAS ANCHORED BY CREW AND THEN ABANDONED. SHE SANK THE NEXT DAY. (WRECKED ON THE CHANNEL ISLANDS). VESSEL WAS BUILT IN DUNDEE IN 1906 AND WAS OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY LONDON AND SOUTH WESTERN RAILWAY COMPANY. (DIVER MAGAZINE JUNE'00)
