EX-OLGA K '85, EX-IRENES LIGHT '76, EX-FULMAN '74, EX-NICHIJIMA MARU '71. BUILT IN 1966 BY SHIN YAMAMOTO ZOSEN, KOCHI. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY PROGRESS SHIPPING CO LTD. SEIZED BY SRI LANKAN MERCENARIES FOLLOWING AN UNSUCCESSFUL COUP ATTEMPT IN THE MALDIVES AND USED FOR THEIR ESCAPE. WAS CAPTURED BY INDIAN COMMANDOES LANDED FROM HELICOPTERS BUT HAD BEEN DAMAGED BY ROCKET-PROPELLED GRENADES ON LEAVING MALE AND LATER BY GUNFIRE FROM INDIAN FRIGATE GODAVARI. CAPSIZED AND SANK WHILE UNDER TOW BACK TO MALE. NO LIVES LOST. (MSD).
