Circumstances of loss
YACHT, ON PASSAGE FROM GIBRALTAR TO PORT JOSE BANUS. BELIEVED TO HAVE BEEN STRUCK BY A LARGE WAVE OFF EUROPA, CAUSING LEAKAGE, NECESSITATING THE OWNER TO BEACH. THE YACHT WAS BROKEN UP IN THE PROCESS OF PULLING THE CRAFT TO SHORE. CONSIDERED A TOTAL LOSS. (LLOYDS VOL.222).
