THREE BOILERS, TRIPLE EXPANSION ENGINE OF 262 NHP, SINGLE SHAFT. PASSAGE GLASGOW FOR DUNSTAN. ANCHORED IN AROS BAY IN A SNOWSTORM, CABLE PARTED & VESSEL DRIVEN ONTO DEARG SGEIR, EILEANAN GLASA. CREW ABANDONED VESSEL, WHICH WAS TO BE BROKEN UP IN SITU, BUT SHE EVENTUALLY SLIPPED OFF THE ROCK, BOW FIRST, INTO DEEPER WATER. (ARGYLL SHIPWRECKS, SHIPWRECKS OF W SCOTLAND & SIBI).
