WHILE PASSING THROUGH SULINA CHANNEL, PASSAGE RENI FOR TUNIS, STRUCK LEFT BANK WHEN RUDDER JAMMED. VESSEL WAS PUSHED BY CURRENT UNTIL STERN WAS HELD BY RIGHT BANK OF CHANNEL AND EVENTUALLY BROKE IN TWO AND SANK, COMPLETELY BLOCKING CHANNEL AND CAUSING FLOODING. (MSD).
