Circumstances of loss

BUILT IN 1987 IN APPLEDORE. SANK IN HEAVY WEATHER. OF CREW OF FIVE, ONE ESCAPED THROUGH WHEELHOUSE WINDOW AND WAS RESCUED, OTHER FOUR MISSING. LIFTED AND BODIES OF CREW RECOVERED IN PETERHEAD. LATER TAKEN TO SEA WITH THE INTENTION OF REPLACING HULL ON THE SEABED, HOWEVER LIFTING STROPS BROKE AND THE VESSEL WAS DROPPED.
