VESSEL, [EX 'SAN NICOLAS' '84, EX 'AGIOS NICOLAOS K' '81, EX 'NORTH WORLD' '77, EX 'ASAHI MARU NO.31' '72], BUILT 1967 BY SHIKOKU DOCKYARD CO., LTD. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY STONEGUARD MARITIME INC. ON PASSAGE FROM THESSALONIKI FOR VOLOS. GROUNDED IN BAD WEATHER. MASTER REPORTED TO HAVE DROWNED, NINE CREW RESCUED. (MSD). AFTER BEING REFLOATED & ABANDONED IN SKIATHOS, SHE WAS TAKEN UNDER TOW FOR TURKEY. (LLOYDS VOL.297).
