BUILT IN 1784. PASSAGE DEAL FOR SOUTHERN IRELAND. ON BOARD THIS TRANSPORT SHIP WERE MEN & ARMS FROM THE 59TH REG EMBARKED WITH JAMES GIBB AS MASTER. SHE FOUNDERED IN A SEVERE STORM NR NEWTOWN HEAD, TRAMORE BAY. 360 BODIES OF MEN, WOMEN & CHILDREN WERE WASHED UP ON THE SHORE. (WRECK HUNTERS BOOK & SHIPWRECKS OF THE IRISH COAST).
