33FT SLOOP 'SHAMBLES' HIT SUBMERGED OBJECT, BELIEVED TO METAL, AND SANK WHILST ON SINGLE-HANDED PASSAGE FROM PLYMOUTH TO ST PETER PORT, GUERNSEY. FURTHER INFORMATION OBTAINED BY HM FISHERY PROTECTION VESSEL BICKINGTON INDICATES THAT THE OBJECT SANK AFTER THE IMPACT WITH THE YACHT. (BRIXHAM CG MRCC).
