TORPEDOED AT MIDDAY BY U-300. 18 MEN LOST, 20 RECOVERED BY HMS REWARD AND ARMED TRAWLER NMNOS HONNINGSVAAG. STILL AFLOAT IN THE EVENING BUT FOUNDERED THE NEXT DAY, PROBABY DUE TO SEA CONDITIONS.
