27.5.90 EX-OLYMPOS C '88, EX-DIXIE '87. BUILT IN 1978 BY KAWASAKI HEAVY INDUSTRIES LTD, SAKAIDE. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY VISTA MARITIME INC. PASSAGE MORMUGAO FOR ITALY. DEVELOPED A CRACK IN NO 3 HOLD IN HEAVY WEATHER ON 27.5.90. DIVERTED TO THE GULF OF YEMEN AND ANCHORED OFF RAS FARTAK WHERE SHE SETTLED AND GROUNDED. WAS REFLOATED 24.8.90. SANK 27.8.90 WHILE PROCEEDING TO FUJAIRAH IN TOW OF M SALVAGE TUG 'SIMOON'. (MSD).
