BUILT IN 1965 BY AALOBORG VAERFT A/D, AALBORG. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY KRISTIANSANDS DAMPSKIPSSELSKAP. PASSAGE KRISTIANSAND, NORWAY, FOR HIRTSHALS, DENMARK. CARRYING 98 PASSENGERS, 47 CREW, 30 CARS AND 7 RAILWAY CARRIAGES. HEAVY SEAS STOVE IN THE SIDE CAR PORTS, THE ENGINE STOPPED AND THE VESSEL TOOK ON A HEAVY LIST. ABANDONED WITH ONLY ONE MAN LOST. CAPSIZED AND SANK. ABANDONED AS CTL. (MSD).
