BUILT IN 1956 BY BRODOGRALISTE '111 MAJ', RIJEKA. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY TOSCA SHIPPING CO LTD. PASSAGE CONSTANZA FOR VIETNAM. STRANDED AT ARUAH ISLANDS, HAD A FIRE IN ENGINE-ROOM DURING REFLOATING ATTEMPTS. ALL CREW TAKEN OFF. ALL HOLDS & ENGINE-ROOM FLOODED. FURTHER ATTEMPT BEING MADE TO REFLOAT VESSEL. SUBSEQUENTLY DEVELOPED HEAVY LIST & SANK. VESSEL ALMOST UPRIGHT WITH STERN EMBEDDED IN MUD. LITTLE HOPE NOW OF RAISING WK. (MSD).
