CONDEMNED IN 1864, FORMS PART OF JETTY HEAD OF F.I. CO EAST JETTY, WITH 'WILLIAM SHAND'. REPORTED TO HAVE BEEN US 'GOLD RUSH' CLIPPER, ABANDONED 1851. VESSEL PUT INTO PORT STANLEY FOR REPAIRS IN MARCH 1864, AFTER RUNNING ASHORE IN THE STRAITS OF LE MAIRE. (FALKLAND ISLAND SHORES).
