EQUIPED WITH NOISEMAKER, INDUCTION LOOP, PARAVANES, 1 X 37MM & 8 X 220 ANTI-AIRCRAFT GUNS. TOGETHER WITH SP 144 (EX-DUTCH BEIJERLAND) WAS ESCORTING A CONVOY FROM BOULOGNE ALONG THE FRENCH COAST. INTERCEPTED BY A FLOTILLA OF ALLIDED DESTROYERS AND WAS TORPEDOED MIDSHIPS BY HMS WHITSHED. (DIVER MAGAZINE, NOV 2012).
