BROKE IN TWO FOLLOWING COLLISION WITH COLOMBIAN MV CIUDAD DE MANIZALES. AFTERPART SANK ALMOST IMMEDIATELY, FWD PART DRIFTED FOR 48 HOURS BEFORE BEING SUNK BY THE FRENCH NAVY. TWO MEN RECOVERED, 11 LOST. (MSD).
