WAS TRAPPED AT KHORRAMSHAHR WHEN SHATT AL ARAB WAS CLOSED DUE TO OUTBREAK OF HOSTILITIES BETWEEN IRAQ AND IRAN IN 1980. VESSEL WAS DAMAGED BY SHELL FIRE ON 5.10.1980. DECLARED A WAR LOSS, VESSEL WAS LATER REPORTED TO HAVE BEEN TOWED TO BASRAH AND IN 1993 TO BE LYING IN SUNKEN CONDITION. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY BRORA SHIPPING CORPORATION. (MSD)
