VESSEL, BUILT 1920 BY V DE KUY & V DE REES, SANK AFTER AN EXPLOSION IN THE ENGINE ROOM NEAR ROYAN IN THE GIRONDE ESTUARY. 13 OF HER 20 CREW WERE LOST. OWNED AT THE TIME OF LOSS BY NAVIERA DEL NALON, VESSEL WAS ON PASSAGE FROM GIJON TO BORDEAUX. (DODS).
