23.6.10 23.6.10 WK LOCATED BY ROV IN 6059.845N, 0355.665W [WGD]. LENGTH FROM SONAR IMAGE 70-80MTRS. DEPTH 1109MTRS. ONE SECTION VISIBLE WITH RAILINGS BUT HARD TO TELL WHICH PART OF THE VESSEL IT WAS. NOT CLOSELY INVESTIGATED TO AVOID RISK TO ROV. (CAPTAIN J W HARGREAVES, MV HUGIN EXPLORER, EMAIL DTD 22.6.10). NCA. 30.7.10 30.7.10 FURTHER ROVE INVESTIGATIONS HAVE BEEN CARRIED OUT. NOW BELIEVER THAT THIS IS TROLDFOS. NOTHING DEFINIVE LOCATED, BUT SIZE AND LOCATION ARE CONSISTENT. CARGO APPEARS TO BE AGRICULTURAL MACHINERY. APARENTLY IN VERY GOOD CONDITION WITH SOME RED PAINT STILL VISIBLE - THIS IS THOUGHT TO BE THE REMAINS OF THE RED STRIPES OF A NEUTRAL VESSEL. (A KENTUCK, RECEIVER OF WRECK, EMAIL DTD 29.7.10). NCA.
