22.7.74 DURING THE WAR IN VIETNAM, THE VESSEL SANK AT DA-NANG AFTER AN UNDERWATER MINE EXPLOSION. A LARGE HOLE WAS BLOWN IN THE STARBOARD SIDE, AND SHE WAS DECLARED A CONSTRUCTIVE TOTAL LOSS. 1 CREWMAN WAS KILLED. (EVER GOOD WAS ALSO SUNK BY A MINE IN DA-NANG ROADS ON 22.7.74 AND DISPOSED OF TO A LOCAL BUYER. (MSD).
