STRUCK A ROCK AT 1.15PM IN DENSE FOG AND IMMEDIATELY STARTED TAKING IN WATER. DRIFTED OUT FROM THE CALF AND BY 5PM THE VESSEL WAS ABANDONED. CREW OF 4 AND THE MASTER'S WIFE RESCUED AFTER AN HOUR BY CABLE SHIP ARIEL. (SIBI).
