WHILE ANCHORED OFF KARACHI AWAITING REPAIRS, LOST HER ANCHOR AND DRIFTED ASHORE ON CLIFTON BEACH. WAS ABANDONED AS TOTAL LOSS WHEN REFLOATING EFFORTS PROVED UNSUCCESSFUL. VESSEL, BUILT 1946, WAS OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY TWO RIVERS MARITIME CO. (MSD).
