5.5.86 SUCTION HOPPER DREDGER 'ZEELAND' CAME IN CONTACT WITH WESTERN PIER WHILST ENTERING CALAIS ON EVENING OF 5.5.86, CAUSING DAMAGE TO UPPER PART OF BOW, BUT NO LEAK. VESSEL CONTINUED TRADING [?]. (LLOYDS VOL 264). VESSEL PROBABLY RAN AGAINST WOODEN BOLLARD ON 7.5.86, AN EXTENSIVE LEAK SUDDENLY ENGULFED THE BOAT. (FRENCH WK RECORDS).
