PASSAGE ROUEN FOR THE TYNE. TORPEDOED BY UB 80. WAS TAKEN IN TOW BY PATROL VESSEL 'RICHARD JEWELL' BUT FOUNDERED SOME 14 MILES FURTHER ON WHEN BULKHEAD COLLAPSED. TWO MEN LOST.
