WAS DRIVEN ONTO ROCKS IN WHAT WAS REPUTED TO BE THE WORST BLIZZARD IN THE WEST COUNTRY FOR 200 YEARS. STRANDED CLOSE INTO CLIFFS S OF NARE POINT, BROADSIDE ONTO THE SEA. 12 PERSONS SAVED OUT OF 40. (DODS & CORNISH SHIPWRECKS & SIBI).
