INS AS WK 7MTRS - NM 1915/86. HH090/638/01 19.2.96 AFTER SCRUTINY OF THE SONAR TRACE BELIEVED WK HAS BROKEN UP. (HMSML GLEANER, HI 638). AMENDED TO FOUL. 19.2.13 EXAM'D 18.8.12 IN 5005.656N, 0505.685W [WGD]. LEAST M/B DEPTH 7.2 IN GEN DEPTH 8.4MTRS. SCOUR 0.7MTR DEEP AT WK. LENGTH 102MTRS, WIDTH 30MTRS, HT 1.9MTRS. LIES 080/260 DEGS. STRONG MAGNETIC ANOMALY. (EGS, FOR CHANNEL COASTAL OBSERVATORY, HI 1404). ?LARGE PORTION OF SHIP'S SIDE LYING FLAT IN SHALL SCOUR. CONSIDERED TO BE 'ROCK ISLAND BRIDGE'.
