BUILT IN 1908 AT KIEL. SCHULZ-THORNEYCROFT BOILERS, TRIPLE EXPANSION ENGINES OF 32000 IHP FOR 26.4 KNOTS. TWELVE 8.2, EIGHT 6 INCH, SIXTEEN 24 POUNDER GUNS. THREE TORPOEDO TUBES. WAS ENGAGED BY HM SHIPS LION, TIGER, PRINCESS ROYAL & NEW ZEALAND AT THE BATTLE OF DOGGER BANK. SET ON FIRE AND SANK. 870 MEN LOST. (DODS).
