EX-PETROBULK STENA '87, EX-STENA CARIBCA '86, EX-AFRAN NEPTUNE '84. 31185 DWT. BUILT IN 1975 BY KOREA SHIPBUILDING & ENGINEERING CORP, BUSAN. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY SEAPRIDE INC. PASSAGE TAIWAN FOR SINGAPORE IN BALLAST. EXPLOSION AND FIRE RIPPED THROUGH NO 8 STARBOARD AND NO 8 CENTRE TANKS. TOOK WATER INTO TANKS THEN THE PUMP ROOM AND FINALLY THE ENGINE ROOM. WAS ABANDONED BY CREW AND EVENTUALLY SANK. ONE MAN LOST. (MSD).
