HH100/351/09 18.5.95 BAD FISHERMAN'S FASTENER REPORTED. WK LOCATED IN 541817N, 034526W [OGB] USING DECCA AND GPS. HIGHEST POINT IS ABOUT 4MTRS IN GEN DEPTH 38MTRS. LIES ABOUT 150/330DEGS. APPEARS TO BE A SMALL AREA OF WRECKAGE, 120FT LONG. NOT DIVED DUE TO VERY BAD UNDERWATER VISIBILITY. COMMERCIAL GUARD REQUESTED. (K HURLEY). CHART AS USC 32MTRS. BR STD. 11.9.96 CINC REMOVED. (K HURLEY, TELECON). HH100/351/12 7.10.96 DIVED IN 8.96 BUT UNDERWATER VISIBLITY POOR. FOUND TO BE BROKEN UP REMAINS OF A SS AND IS COVERED IN A LARGE TRAWL NET. PROBABLE PART OF SAME WK LOCATED IN 541807N, 034518W. STANDS 5MTRS HIGH. SMALL IN LENGTH, POSSIBLY NO MORE THAN 50FT. (K HURLEY). HH090/728/01 4.12.97 EXAM'D 11.10.97 IN 541814.7N, 034531.3W [WGD] USING DGPS. SWEPT CLEAR 27.7, FOUL 28.3MTRS. LEAST E/S DEPTH 33.7 IN GEN DEPTH 35.2MTRS. SCOUR DEPTH 2.2MTRS. DCS3 HT 3.8MTRS. LENGTH 12MTRS, WIDTH 7MTRS. LIES 136/316DEGS. WK OF WOODEN VESSEL, WHICH APPEARS TO BE INTACT. DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SWEPT CLEAR DEPTH AND E/S DEPTH LIKELY TO BE DUE TO FISHING NETS. WK HAS SUNK INTO MUD LEAVING ONLY 1.5MTRS ABOVE SEABED. CHART AS WK 33.7MTRS. (NP 1008, HI 728). IN CIRCULAR SCOUR. CHART AS SW 27.5MTRS. - NM 263/98. HH100/351/16 7.8.00 THIS COULD WELL BE 'CHLOE'. REPORTED POSN OF LOSS WAS 5430.0N, 0342.0W BUT HAS NOT BEEN LOCATED. (A CORKILL, LTR DTD 30.7.00).
