LAID DOWN 1906, LAUNCHED 4.7.09 BY BREST DOCKYARD. 26 BELLVILLE OR NICLAUSSE COAL FIRED BOILERS, PARSONS TURBINES OF 22500 SHP FOR 19.2 KNOTS, QUADRUPLE SHAFT. 4 X 305MM/45 GUNS IN TWIN MOUNTS, 24 X 240MM/50 GUNS IN TWIN MOUNTS, 16 X 75MM/65 GUNS IN SINGLE MOUNTS, 10 X 47MM GUNS IN SINGLE MOUNTS, 2 X 450MM TORPEDO TUBES. PASSAGE FROM REFIT IN TOULON FOR CORFU. TORPEDOED BY U-64 (LT CDR ROBERT MORAHT) WHILE ZIG-ZAGGING AND SANK IN 45 MINUTES. 806 MEN ABANDONED, 296 MEN LOST. (WIKIPEDIA).
