21.3.80 VESSEL PUT INTO BREST HARBOUR ON 21.3.80 FOLLOWING ENGINE TROUBLE AND DECK CARGO SHIFTING WHILE ON PASSAGE FROM ROUEN TO LATTAKIA. THE CREW & OWNERS ABANDONED THE VESSEL ONE MONTH LATER. HAVING LAIN ALONGSIDE IN BREST COMMERCIAL PORT FOR SEVERAL MONTHS THE VESSEL WAS TOWED & SUNK BY FRENCH NAVY ON 24.1.82. (LL 3.2.82).
