H3018/65 18.1.67 A WK AWASH AT LOW WATER IN 501800N, 051414W. FUNNEL IS VISIBLE AT LOW WATER. PERSONAL OBSERVATION JULY 1965 (R J VICKERY, HN 18.1.67). INS AS STPA. BR STD. H1247/69 19.5.70 THE PREVIOUS REPORT IS INACCURATE IN THAT IT IS NOT THE FUNNEL THAT SHOWS BUT THE BOILER. THE WRECKAGE APPEARS BROKEN UP. SAND DISTURBANCE CAN BE SEEN FROM THE CLIFF IN THE POSN OF THE WK. THIS IS THE REMAINS OF THE SS ELTHAM. (R DAVIS, 12.5.70). NCA. 17.7.84 BOILER STILL VISIBLE. (MRS D BLACKMORE). NCA. 21.11.11 NOT WITHIN NAVIGABLE AREA. (FUGRO OSAE, HI 1157). NOT VISIBLE ON GOOGLE EARTH. AMEND DEAD. BR STD.
