WAS BADLY DAMAGED BY TORPEDO ATTACK FROM U-103 ON 9 OCT. VESSEL WAS ABANDONED & FINALLY SUNK THE FOLLOWING DAY BY U-123. (DODS, AXIS SUBMARINE SUCCESSES, SEA BREEZES SEP'82, LL WW2).
