BUILT IN 1912 BY COCHRANE & SONS, SELBY. ORIGINALLY OWNED BY PICKERING AND HALBY'S STEAM TRAWLING CO AND REGISTERED IN HULL. HIRED IN 1915. ONE BOILER, TRIPLE EXPANSION ENGINE OF 65 HP, SINGLE SHAFT. ONE 3-PDR GUN, SMALLER GUN AFT. WAS ESCORTING LANCS & YORKS RAILWAY SS NIDD TO CALAIS. WHILST MANOEUVERING TO ENGAGE A SURFACED ENEMY SUBMARINE (UB 274) RAN UNDER NIDD'S BOWS AND WAS STUCK ON PORT SIDE. VESSEL QUICKLY SANK.
